Hi all, My motherboard is an ASUS p4p800 E-Deluxe After the legal time went back on Sunday 26-10-2008 my mothetbords bios lost and reset settings to the default after each pc reboot , i 've changed the battery but problem isn't solved. Ami Bios version: 1009.003 Does somebody knows the problem? Thanks in advance.
Go to the BIOS Website , and see if there is a upgrade available . Flash your BIOS and see if it fixes this !
Before you do something that drastic, take a moment to be sure your battery wasn't inserted upside down. Also do a voltage check of the Battery and be sure it is at least 3 volts, some do discharge in the store, and finally double check your cmos jumper just in case a helpful friend may have cleared your bios for you and forgot to put it back to normal operation. Asus motherboards aren't commonly known to have bios clock problems, and a stuck clock leads more towards a different hardware problem than a simple flash and reboot will solve.
thanks for your answer The test that i can't done because i don't know how is the battery voltage test, but the battery is a new one.
