    Hello Community,

    I want to buy a new Gamer PC. It may cost 273,8 U.S. dollars to 1. I made already times a system. (see below) which says it to it. Please give hints at which I to improve can. In the price also a monitor should be contained 22 "".

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 boxed, 12MB, LGA775, 64bit

    Board: MSI P45 Neo-F, Intel P45, ATX

    RAM: 2048MB-KIT DDR2 MDT , PC6400/800, CL5 2x

    Graka: Please give hints

    Netzteil: BE Quiet! Straight Power 500 Watt / BQT E6

    Festplatte: WD Caviar 640GB, SATA II, WD6400AAKS

    Laufwerk: LG DH16NS schwarz bare SATA II

    Gehäuse: Antec Three Hundred, ATX, ohne Netzteil

    Lüfter: Xigmatek HDT-RS1283 Heatpipe Cooler - Red Scorpion Edition

    Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster T220

    If you are going for that kind of processor, and have the money for that level of system, then probably a GTX 280 graphics card.

    You will certainly need a better PSU and again for that level of system probably a 750w at least. The antec 300 case is OK but a 900 would be better and bigger. You should really have 4gb ram, probably 1066MhZ and a 64bit operating system otherwise you will not make the most of your processor and graphics card.

    Just some thoughts

    I agree with Edgar about Graphics card and OS but if you look around there is an Antec 1200 gaming tower that doesnt have the dust issues of the 900.

    Case here Antec - Twelve Hundred

    For PSU i would say 850Watt just in case

    4GB 1066 RAM should do

    Motherboard is ok

    Hard drive is ok
