my computer is too old so i was thinking of updating my bios. so for that i was surfing net and asking friend but could not find any way that work for me ( i have found one way here and using this way my friend upgraded its system but when i try i don't find the file on the mother board manufacturer site (program to run bin file)).
well, to do it from a floppy, you need two files on the floppy a .bin and an executable what make & model (and hopefully revision number), & i'll try to find it for you
Theres no point in updating your BIOS unless the one you are using now is restricting you in some way. If you really do want to update then follow the instructions from your motherboard manufacturer. I wouldnt use generic instructions. If the update goes wrong your board is turned to junk.
