Hello. I have windows loaded on a 9 gig partition [E] I had made with acronis. Little did I know that everything downloaded from then on would go into that partition. My C drive still has 128 gigs of free space and I need to get into that storage because the puter is running out of space. How can I combine the partitions? I tried using diskpart.exe but don't understand it.. Thanks..Will
Paragon Partition Manager is an often preferred alternative. Though if the 128gb is free space you might be able to use the disk management in control panel. When you install programs you can change the intsall path to a different partition. I used to do this but if I remember right I had issues with a few programs. Probably just games.
