Connecting two computers

    I need to transfer all the files from Laptop 1 (running on Windows XP) to Laptop 2 (Running on Windows Vista). I have a CAT5e Crossover patch cable.

    I honestly don't have a clue how to do it - i'm not in the slightest bit tech savvy!

    Can anyone help?
