    Hi!
As you can probably tell by the title of the thread, I run my PC off an Intel D845e chipset. What sort of Mhz's should I be looking for in a new 1024MB DDR RAM to go with the MB?
Also, I just bought a POV Geforce 8800 GTS (EXO) and it's on delivery...will it work as well?
    Thanks!

I don't believe that will work.

The 845 series (actually all 800-series chipsets) use AGP slots for video cards.
Unless I missed something, the GeForce 8 series cards, specifically the 8800 line, are PCI Express x16 only, and physically incompatible with AGP. You might be able to find an 8600 in AGP as well as an ATI Radeon 3850, but AGP is pretty much dead, so you will find your options severely limited.

DDR: this would depend on the CPU used, but right now, I don't think you'll find savings going with something slower than DDR 400/PC3200. It's perfectly safe to use a faster grade of RAM as the number is the maximum guaranteed rate.

Thanks a lot! I'll look into it.
