Hey guys new here. Nobody any where knows how to answer this. Just wanting to know what you guys think... I was looking at these two motherboards: ECS A780GM & BIOSTAR A780G. Let me give you a run down what I know.. If you go to tigerdriect and you watch the short filim they have. The ECS A780Gm as the power to take the HD3200 built in and the card you may add to work in some sort of crossfire. I want to know if the Biostar a780G which is cheaper and as the same north and south bridge can do the same as the ECS Black edition. Please look at the below links for more information from newegg and tiger. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3672390&CatId=2838 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138134 Any help your thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks, Kyle
Your links are duff. What sort of boards are they? ie cpu support, chipset, etc How much do they each cost? Sorrry links are not duff, my browser seems to be playing up
That was my bad! The links work now.. I copied them from my notepad file and they some how got shorter.. no clue..
I personally would never buy a board with onboard graphics. They can be problematic when using addon gfx cards. Also if you can do a sort of crossfire thing (not sure how that would work to be honest) you may be limited to the 3200 level of acceleration which doesn't seem that great. Other than that look out for some reviews and bear in mind when you read them that they are cheap boards so some of the negative points may be due to the fact that they are cheap. Good reviews will take this into account anyway.
well amd and ati because amd owns ati now... They have created some kind hybird, I quote from tiger: " ATI Hybrid Graphics Technology To provide better gaming performance than a single graphics card, the innovative design of ATIª Hybrid Graphics Technology is capable to bring additional performance increase up to 1.75X by enabling the power of both integrated graphics core and the add-on graphics card simultaneously. " My question is does the Bio. do the same because off the chipset and etc?
