I'm having problems getting certain applications to run, and others to run properly. I was wondering if there is any program or action in Windows XP that I can use to view ta log. if there is any, of what processes occurred when tying to start the program or in running the program. I know that there is such a thing as WINDOWS ERROR REPORT, but the problem with that is you can't save it or format into a file that can be sent for for future trouble shooting and it cost to much to let Microsoft handle it. If there is no such program, is there any software out there that can do this.

    Thanks

Right click on 'my computer' - then click 'manage' (vista or XP)
Click event viewer (+ windows logs if on vista)
Then you can select system or application logs

    Hope this covers it :)
