hello, i have a compaq evo d300v 1.4 celeron with inbuilt graphics. I went and bought an ati radeon 7000 agp 2/4.

The prob is when i installed the card, the system hangs on startup, and i cant see anything in the bios screen to disable the onboard graphics.

Ive hit a brick wall, so any help greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance.

use onboard video, uninstall the drivers in windows. Boot to BIOS, disable onboard in BIOS, turn off computer.

Put the card in and power up!

    try that!
