I have 2 hard drives both have been wiped using a common erasing program not just formatted. I tried installing Windows XP and the setup files were installed from the CD. When I rebooted there was an boot error and it was unable to boot from the hard drive. This was the case for both hard drives, the same error. What reason could there be why it doesn't boot directly to XP?
