    Hello,

I'm sooner getting my hands on the GA-EX58-UD5 Gigabyte motherboard, To use with my i7 CPU. Do you think it's a good choice ?

Does it handle well the Chip ? What about the Intel Extreme motherboard DX58SO ?

My intentions are focusing on robustness , so any other alternative ?

hey man, I would definatly go with the GA-EX58-UD5 it has dual bios, 2oz copper in the pcb, 16 phase power so very power efficent also lower rds mosfets voltage regulators, excellent cooling, solid state caps all round, dual gig lan and second gen sli 16x 16x 8x so excellent bus speeds. Tripple channel 2000mhz +

The other board you mentioned is nothing compared to the Gigabyte board it doesnt even have tripple channel memory. also only one PCI-Express x16 slot doesn't even state if it's 2.0 which is the 4gb/s bus. so very limited, Gigabyte is the way to go.

Thanks Bobby, that was quiet convincing,

I'll go for the Gigabyte thing, it's a killing machine.
