    Hi i have a qustion,
recently my dad complained about our new computer that when he books his flight online, the site rejects the credit card he keyed in
is it possible that Internet Explorer got a virus or what? i scanned it through the discs but luckily it returned no infected files or folders what could be the reason?

viruses / malware / rootkits are a constant problem for Win, download and scan (with definitions updated) Malwarebytes.org & SuperAntiSpyware

personally i regulally scan my Vista box with malewarebytes & i actually bought SuperAntispyware & i use Avast Antivirus, but AntiVir is also good

the only thing wrong with avast is it looks like a media player, but i don't mind that, but if you want you can always use a downloadable skin, AVG (IMHO) is crap and misses viruses

finally why are you using IE ? as IMHO Firefox is a far more secure and functional browser but if you want to use IE thats fine, but compared to FF it's crap IMHO
waht did you scan with ?

You should indeed try a different browser like Firefox or Opera. This way you can see if the problem is caused by IE, or by a more system-wide problem.

personally i don't need / use antivirus / spyware scanners, but NOD32 is recommended by many others on HWF's which i conclude it must be good, although on my Vista box i use Avast (free for home use) & SuperAntiSpyware (bought) i generally don't trust "so called" all in one tools as their trying to be a "jack of all trades" & i tend to think they are a "master of none" but then again it could just be me being paranoid

IE has cookie problems that could be kicking the card out.
