    Hello,
I have a panasonic TH-42PW6 tv with both a vga and scaart input ..I have only tried the vga input but with three different laptops and the results are all the same. They both recognise or "see" each other as the screen "no input" disapears and the laptop shows a second monitor attached - the screen even flickers when we toggle betweent the monitors using display ..... but no image ?? Can anyone advise ? Do i need a special graphics card ? The laptops are all new (2008 an 2009) I have also read about refresh rates is this true ? and if so how do I change my laptops refresh rate ...what is going on ??

    thanks in anticpation

think you need to set the display to tv out on your laptop that should display on your tv in display settings

It's probably the refresh rate of your laptop. You might need a converter box...
