I've never actually owned an LCD monitor for my own PC, and I think its about time to give the 19" CRT monitor a rest (though I'll keep it for backup ;)). I'm looking for a new monitor, something in the $250-300 CDN range, and probably ~22 inch. I'll be playing some PC games, but would like to use it for my PS3, as well as standard computer activities (homework, web browsing etc).

So far I've been looking at these two monitors, but I'm definitely open to suggestions as I haven't done too much research and don't know that much about monitors.

    Samsung T220HD
    Samsung T220HD 22IN Widescreen Lcd Monitor 1680X1050 10000:1DC 5MS Vga DVI-D Hdmi Component Tv Tuner - DirectCanada

    Dell ST2310
Dell : Dell ST2310 23 Inch Full HD Widescreen Monitor : Displays : Home & Home Office

My graphics card is an 8800GTS, so I'm not sure whether this is going to be too weak to be running such a high res. Also, as you can probably guess I'm in Canada so any suggestions should keep this in mind. So if someone could lemme know whether these choices or good or whether there are some better options.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd go for the Dell :) have had mine for 3..4 years without any problems.

8800GTS won't have any problems running at those resolutions, I have it running @ 1900x1200.
