Does anyone have any recommendations for in a ASUS Rampage Extreme LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard?

Go for 4gb kit of ddr2 G-skill 1200mhz ram the highest frequency your motherboard handles. install in dual channel cofiguration.

 

Actually the motherboard supports ddr3 memory. Here's what I chose.

maximum your board supports is 1200mhz so it will be clocked down to 1200, so your best just saving some money and investing in some 1200mhz ram, prefferably G-Skill, Corsair, Ocz.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the board supports a 1600 MHz Ram Frequency.

 

The board i was looking at was different lol. yea the ram you chose will work perfect.
