I'm trying to build a really nice gaming computer that will also be good for image and video editing. I think I've gathered all of the parts that I want for it, but I'm not 100% sure if it's all compatible with one another. Any suggestions, ideas, or criticisms are welcome.

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 3.0 GHz
    CPU Cooler: Vigor Monsoon III
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 275 896MB
    RAM: OCZ Platinum 12GB
    Case: XCLIO A380BK
    PSU: XCLIO GREATPOWER X14S4P4 750W

Thank you for your help, suggestions and time.

Wow, very impressive system shaping up there. You probably won't need those 12GB's for gaming but video editing at least is pretty much the most demanding thing ever so I can see where you're going.

I'm assuming you already have your Harddrive/s from a prior rid?

Lastly the PSU you chose seems pretty great but perhaps this one would interest you?

Looks like a nice build. The chassis is a bit OTT if you ask me, but each to their own. :) As for the massive RAM, that's a good call for video editing. Most games won't use anywhere near that amount without tweaking though, so you're not likely to see any benefit there after four gigs. Keep in mind that you'll only be able to address 1/3 of that 12gb though if you don't use either a 64-bit build of Windows, or else a non-MS OS like Linux.
