    Hey everyone.

So I'm trying to open my Lifebook so I can clean out the dust that's built up inside. It's gotten to the point where the laptop overheats on even the least taxing of games, such as Diablo 2.

I can remove all the screws on the underside of the laptop, but there are four screws on the top of the body right under the monitor. I couldn't possibly reach those with a screwdriver, so I assume I'll have to remove the monitor.

There are two screws under rubber squares on either lower corner of the front of the monitor. After removing those, the plastic clamps that hold on to the hinges can open slightly, but it just doesn't feel like that's the right way to go about getting it off, since I obviously haven't disconnected any kind of video cable. Also, the endcaps of the hinges do not seem to be easily popped off. I'd rather not try harder without seeking some help.

Does anyone have any experience with or advice for proceeding? I'm just not seeing an obvious way to do it.

    Thanks!

I couldn't find any pictures of your model to guide you with but please take a look at this: Fujitsu-Siemens S7010 Disassembly (At least it's a LIFEBOOK and I think this guide can get you through the disassembly of your N3530.) and FUJITSU: Fujitsu America - Support

And btw, I don't think you'll need to remove any of the screws behind rubber stickers.
