I quite fancy a dual display setup!!

I wont be gaming, but I would like to be kinda future proof, so I would like a capable card. It looks like I'm going to need to spend £100 (but would prefer to spend around £60-£70).

I will be running Ubuntu 9.04.

I am thinking of the nvidia 9600 GT. What do you guys think? Is this a bit over the top for my needs?

More importantly, the nvidia say this card comes as a 59 watt or 96 watt. Are they the same card just a different size and power consumptions?

    I have an Advent PQD4003 which has a Foxconn A7GMX motherboard. The board has 1 x PCI E x 16 slot.

It also has a 300W PSU.

    So, will the card fit?

Will either the 59 watt or 96 watt card work off the current PSU?

Even a 9400 GT would work for someone that doesn't game.

As for your PSU, a 300W might be a little small for that GPU. You might want to upgrade to at least a 400W.
