    Hossa. I haven't played around with hardware for a while.

    Got the arctic cooler freezer 7 pro here, the asus p6t deluxe v2.

    CPU is installed.

    Now, I don't get the cooler on the motherboard. Yes, I see the 4 "holes" in the motherboard. But they are too far away from each other.

    After 5 minutes of trying, I took a tape measure: the distance between the holes is over 1cm more than the distance between the 4 pins of the arctic freezer.

    Now, am I totally stupid? Do it miss something? It should be compatible?

    Help please :)
    Thanks

    Eiko

    Again, detailed:
    * ASUS P6T Deluxe V2, Sockel 1366, ATX, DDR3
    * Intel Core i7-920 Tray 8192Kb, LGA1366
    * Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Sockel 775

    You'll need a cooler that supports Socket 1366. You should be able to exchange your Freezer 7 Pro for a Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2.
