Hello, Over the past few months, my monitor has been acting up on me and in the last week or so, it's become quite bad. The problem is when I turn off the computer for an extended period of time, the monitor won't display an image after startup. The power is on, it flashes briefly as though it's ging to start and then just stays black. I have tried the display on other computers in the house and the problem persists so I'm convinced it's not an issue with my PC in any way. The odd thing is sooner or later it will eventually turn on normally and will stay running fine even through restarts. At the moment, I'm restarting my PC dozens of times to get it to kick in, where initially it would take only a few tries to get it to go. Btw, I have a 22" Viewsonic LCD and Vista 64 Ultimate.
