    Hello everybody!

My friend has this computer that randomly blue screens. There's no set action that causes it, or time period, or even temperature. It happened in Vista, and now in Windows 7. The motherboard has been replaced, as well as two of four sticks of ram. The two not replaced have been removed before, and it still gives a BSOD. It happens at two different houses.

The weirdest part is, every time it gets a BSOD, its a different error code, so looking that up seems useless. The first couple were for overheating and memory, but I've ruled both of those out.

So, what do I do next?

    Update:
So I was told to manually set the memory voltage and speed. I did so and it didn't help.

Also, it has started to sometimes not boot at all, not even to the bios. The power supply, lights and fans are on, but the computer gets no farther. Other times it works fine for a day two.

    Please help!

usually the motherboard is fine, but given your problems, i'd say thats it. It could also be the CPU or Harddrive though. try the UltimateBootCD (the dos version is free). and try the CPU Stress tester. this will rule out the harddrive (not being used, since the cd boots itself) and the cpu (if it gives error messages in the test, or says it fails, then you have you problem). if it passes, I'd say Motherboard.

are your sticks of ram identical?
i would try one stick of ram at a time and
    run everest stress test
focus test on cpu then ram then a mix of both
