My BenQ FP91G+ monitor (only just 2 years old) keeps auto-adjusting by itself, causing the picture to jump about. It happens every couple of minutes and renders the monitor more-or-less unusable.
I realise monitors don't have the same life expectancy that they used to, but I'd like to think I could get at least another 12 months out of this one before coughing up more money I don't have! :(
Any thoughts/ advice on this would be much appreciated.

If you're using the 15DBA analog VGA connector, try switching to the all-digital DVI connector instead. There is no auto-adjustment necessary with DVI, since the signal source is very predictable. If the issue still occurs with the DVI cable, the monitor's internal power regulation could be screwed up. In that case, it'd be best to just replace the monitor.

I'm going to dig up a DVI connector tonight and see whether that fixes the problem. Thanks a million for the advice!

Thanks so much, Anti-Trend - the DVI cable works. Your advice just saved me from further credit card carnage. :)
