New CPU and Video Card?

    I am looking to upgrade my Video card and CPU (hopefully). I am not sure how to do it, but thats not why im here, i can find that all over the internet. what i need help with is finding out what would be the best purchase i can make without changing the rest of my computer. Here is what i have:


    Motherboard:ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI (quad core conroe)
    Memory: 4gb ddr2 667mhz

    video: 8800 GTS 640mb PCI-E
    CPU: intel core 2 duo e6600 2.4ghz (1066mhz front side bus)
    Power:550W

    video: Nvidia GTX 260 or ATI 5770.

    Not experienced with Intel, so Idk.

    it is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor - Retail for about $330.
    you can use any socket 775 CPU, and the above Quad core is the best.
    Socket 775 is core 2 duo, core 2 quad, and some high end pentiums and celerons.
