Hi guys ... My 10 inch laptop doesnt support InDesign because the highest resolution is 1024 x 600 which is not enough . I read somewhere that you can add another monitor to solve this issue !! My friends 15 inch laptop is running InDesign fine, i have a VGA cable but dont know exactly how to setup and run desired resolution . If its possible, please guide me with a step by step how to do this . Thanks ...... Reply With Quote
1. Get a external standalone monitor. 2. Connect the VGA cable to your laptop 3. Switch to the external monitor - either by Desktop >> Properties >> Displays or by Fn and the appropriate Function button on your keyboard. Best thing probably is to send the output to the external monitor only as that then will allow you to use the max resolution setting of your video card.
