    Hello everybody,

I have a dell latitude e6500 that is warming suddenly after 1 hour at least, what can it cause that warm?

    Thanks for help.

    Hey,

First and foremost, when you are using it, make sure you aren't clogging up any of the vents. A lot of people will put a laptop on a bed where it will sink in and no heat will get out. Depending on there the heat exhaust is, you may be blocking them just by having on your lap even.

Second, are you running any programs? What is your cpu usage? What are you usually doing on your laptop when this happens? Does it happen when the laptop isn't doing anything?

Third, buy a laptop fan base. Laptops have a universally shitty design for getting rid of heat. Companies want to make them as quiet as possible, this usually means bad thermal management.

Last, Make sure you are defragging your hard drive.

Hope this maybe helps you a bit to turn you in the right direction!
