    Hello!

    I remember seeing a TV show with a space theme back when I was a young kid. I remember it being quite interesting and I wanted to know whether any of you remember how it's called. I'd like to check it out again.

    The charachteristics I remember are:

    1. Two factions - humans at war with some other alien race
    2. The alien motherships were like Pyramids.
    3. Often, action took place on planets where humans would use dropships to land infantry
    4. A episode: humans land on one planet and find an alien there. They help it, but later it turns out that it was one of the enemy race and not a third intelligent faction. "Now they know our plans" was a quote I remember. They didn't know that that was the enemy, because (see point 5.) they never knew how they looked like and throughout the plot it's one of the main mysteries - how do they look like w/o the suits.
    5. The aliens, when killed would dissolve. They were wearing suits that protected them and made their dead bodies disapear so that enemies could not examine them.

    there, but I have no goddamn clue to how this show/movie was called. It isn't Battlestar - that's for sure and I don't really know any other series/movies involving two races (except the one where a human and an alien fighterpilots land on a wild planet and have to become friends in order to survive, but that's not it...)

    Wow, you really red that through? thanks :D

    A list of what it isn't (but what might conform to the constraints I stated above):

    * Battlestar Galactica
    * Stargate
    * Farscape

    Thanks, but, unfortunately, no. Farscape has the plot where an astronaut gets into a wormhole and stuff, but my mystery series has a plot where there are only humans and only the other aliens as the enemy + no time/space transitions of any sort.

    I know this is kind of late but this sounds like Space Above and Beyond. It used to be on Fox when it first aired and then Sci Fi network did reruns... too bad it only lasted one season... it ended on such a cliff hanger where it seemed almost all the main cast except for 2 were dead....
