    Dear Forum,

I have a Packard Bell Easynote W1801 with a faulty keyboard, so got one from the net.

Now, I found some sort of very vague guide on teh net which told me in order to replace it, I would need to lift up the screen hinges, then bend the screen 180 degrees away from the laptop and ....

It was so vague I coudln't understand and that was teh only guide I could find.

Does anyone know where I could get a step by step for this, or could anyone out there advise me how I shoudl do this?

    I would be most grateful
    Ta for readin'

If you end up doing this yourself, i advise you designate screw sizes into groups... (thats if they are different sizes)..

Some keyboards i have replaced i have had to literally take the whole laptop apart just to access the ribbon connector on the bottom of the keyboard....

The best way to learn, is to try... Goodluck ^^
