Ok this thing blows my mind. Out of sudden my ext. hdd is not detected by my desktop. ok it might not be so weird until i say this. Anything else that you stick into the USB... IT WORKS!!! Wat da hell....my pendrive works... arghh. The weird part is that any sort of hdd that i'd use does not seem to work.. whether it's 3.5 or 2.5... it just does not work!! Need some help thanks
well, do these external hdd's work with other computers? I would try and go to the Device manager (windows+prtscr) in order to check whether they are seen by the system. If there are some unidentified devices, they'll show up here - maybe a uninstall and reboot of the system will do it. That is all if the hdd isn't faulty itself
