I know Samsung makes some UbiSync monitors that connect to the computer using a USB port instead of DVI, HDMI or D-Sub/VGA. I'm unable find a brand new one those and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on those. I'm also reading that DisplayLink is an open version of UbiSync but I'm not having any luck finding any DisplayLink adapters on the market either. I need to connect 3 Monitors to a single laptop. What's my best bet?

    Thank you!

    Hi J.,

Yes, the monitors with DisplayLink integrated are rare or out of production (like the Samsung Lapfit with USB connection).

The reason why people stick with separate adapters is the flexibility of having hardware that can be moved around to work with any monitor.

We sell a USB to DVI, VGA, and HDMI adapter using DisplayLink's DL-195 chip (and soon to be a less expensive one with DL-125) at Plugable

Also, if you search Amazon.com for "Displaylink" you'll find a bunch of alternatives.

    Best wishes,
