My aunt didn't realize the monitor cable was screwed in at the back of the PC and attempted to just pull it out. It pulled the connection lose from the mother board. When she tried to plug it back in, she bent some of the prongs. Can this be fixed? Any estimate on what it might cost her?

    Thanks,

I would go for a new monitor simply - plus, there is absolutely no guarantee that the picture won't be distorted or a bit weird after a fixup. A fresh monitor from a warehouse is the best choice...

The monitor connection is fine. It's the connection on the pc side that is messed up.
