Hey guys,I just built a new gaming computer and decided to change from ATI to Geforce because of all reviews i have read between the 2. Specs are listed at the bottom. I got the 9800GT EE and i run Flight Simulator 2004 and am verry impressed with the FR this thing gives me. OFF THE CHARTS!! Awesome.. The problem i am having is the JAGGED EDGES in the simulator and i can NOT seem to get them to go away.I have tried everything i can think of from updating drivers to tinkering with all the settings and still all rough edges in the game. I never had this problem with ATI and hoping someone can give me a clue what to do to fix the problem or is the card defected? I want to give it a chance and hoping it is just me lol. Thanks System: MB: GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 1156 CPU: I5 QUAD 1156 MEM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS 4GB GP:NVIDIA GEFORCE 9800GT EE, 1024MB DRIVERS:6.14.0011 DISPLAY: SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER P2070, 1280X800 (60Hz) OS: XP 32 DIRECTX 10
I hope I understand the problem correctly... if you run the game at the same resolution that your LCD is native to (namely, 1280X800), then there are only two things I can think of: 1. Game settings - turn anti-aliasing and/or filtering to the max - that ought to smooth the edges. 2. Nvidia control panel offers enforced graphics settings. just turn it up to quality and play around again with AA and AF to see if that gives anything.
