    Hello hardwareforums!!!
Im new here so please tell me if i m doing something wrong.
Before i start, i just want to tell that i am german and i dont speak english perfectly. I try my best with my english. ;)

    Here is my problem:

My computer freezes everytime when i start a "busy" aplication like: HD Videos on youtube or playing COD2 or WS-enemy territory.
    It freezes randomly.
Sometimes after 2hrs. sometimes after 2 minutes.
    The picture just freezes...no sound...no HDD-LED...no bluescreen...nothing

the only thing i can do is to unplug the power and restart.
i can leave my computer on for a whole day on and i wont freeze, just when the system is busy.

MY HARDWARE: (I know its a old one, but it boots up in 16 sec!)

    MSI-6390 Motherboard
    AMD ATHLON 2400+ 2GHz (FSB=266Mhz) not overclocked (Socket 462)
768 MB RAM PC 2100 not overclocked
Samsung 40GB HDD 7200rpm SMART status excelent
    ATI radeon 7000 32MB 142MHz not overclocked (AGP 4x)
    Netgear PCI wifi adapter 108MBps
    DVD-Drive and CD-Burner
    Realtec ac97 on board sound
    on board S3 graphics (DISABLED)
    Phoenix Bios (UP to Date)
    250WATT Original Power Suply
    Floppy disc

    System is cooled by:
    1x CPU cooler
    1x Case cooler
    2x Passive chipset coolers
    and 1x passive gpu cooler

    I already tryed:
    different CPU (AMD athlon 1000)
    diferrent RAM with different frequency
    different Graphic Card
    different Power suply (350 Watt)
    different CPU coolers
    different HDD
    different -mouse-keyboard-speakers-monitor-wifi card
    different drivers
    different FSB (by jumper)

    NOTHING WORKED!!!!!!!!

    My software:
    Everest home editiom
    Avira Antivirus
    Windows firewall
    All updates
    Punkbuster
    Wolfenstein Enemy territory
    COD 2
    all drivers

    OS: WINDOWS XP PROF SP3

Direct X is up to date.

Please help me solve this problem!!! :(

If u need aditional informations just ask!

    Thank u for reading!!!!!
    Hope i get help....

....I forgot to tell my TEMPS: My athlon 2400+ has a temperature between 122 and 151 fahrenheit
System temp is 86 fahrenheit constant

have you tried running programs like Prime95 and Memtest? I think that those like to create log files, so that you can later (ie when you have to restart the computer after the freeze, if one happens) see maybe what the cause was.

the cpu temps are a bit on the high side, but the older AMDs where never cool CPU's

I recall an older Netgear NIC causing problems with some chipsets back in the day, and if I'm thinking of the right one that's the one that had trouble with some AMD socket A chipsets.
