Right so i thinking about buying FUJITSU SCENIC P300 Model MI2W-D1761 on the cheap in the hope to upgrade and fix it up a little and sell it on to make a small profit. It currently has 512MB RAM and i hoping to upgrade this to atleast 1GB. But when looking for prices im look at between £15 - £30 for 512mg/1GB ram! I didnt know if anyone could answer my question of is there like a universal RAM that fits more models that would be cheaper for me to buy or if anyone knows a cheaper website to buy it from? Im told the memory is 184 Pin DDR2700 333MHz if that helps for D1761 motherboard
Any RAM, no matter the vendor, that has the same parameters, that you listed, will work. But, as for the price, unless you search for used hardware, then you won't get anywhere cheaper. Old-specification RAM (especially pre-DDR2) will be expensive, since there's little demand for it in the market (for instance - 23 inch LCD monitors will be almost cheaper than 15 inch ones)
