hi, ive got a sony vaio VGN FW-590F3B. the cpu ive got is enough for what i need it for. but im a bit of a gamer and would like to upgrade my cpu. as i do get some lag on newer games. i think the gpu is fine. i can deal with the slightly lesser quality graphics wise... anyway my laptop has a intel core 2 duo t6600 and i see that my laptop can also come with a t9900 or t9600 processor (i'd prefer the t9900). is it possible just to switch over the cpu and not encounter any problems like overheating?? let me know -thankyou

    my laptop-

It is possible to do so. You can even ad up memory to you laptop, but it all is expensive, on your place I would wait and get completely new laptop in some time with higher specks. But that is just my opinion.
