Go into Bios make sure USB is enabled as well as USB Legacy support, go to boot priority and set it to boot from USB device.

What are you trying to boot up via your USB drive?

hi .. am very new here .. have same problem with the same mobo.

it can boot to pclinux live usb with out a problem. But i needed to install win xp. problem is no cd drive working and no floppy drive. :( and i have got a sata HDD.

question is why is it showing J and getting stuck. is there a way to boot from pendrive and access setup on HDD or if we copy the setup files to bootable pen drive can we run it from there. thanks in advance.
