I know the 4870 is better than 8800GT, but how much better? Im thinking about putting in my 8800GT again so I can edit videos, because my plugins wont work with this shitty ATI card.
i think my 4650 pulls as many or more gflops as an 8800 gtx (depending on how you calculate them)... so it should be enormously more powerful. in fact it's at least 3 times as powerful.
