Welcome to HWF That would only be possible if you're very good at soldering. But I would suggest to purchase a separate serial port which can be inserted into one of the expansions slots, like this one: VSCOM Serial Card PCI Low Profile, 1 port RS-232 PCI-RS232LP1 LOW PRICE $27.98 Alternatively there are also external serial ports available to connect to a USB port.
