    Hi

I'm buying a new PC - a barebone bundle - and I'm not sure which one to buy.
I've heard Intel was generally better than AMD, so I don't know if Intel Core Duo E6700 is better than AMD Athlon X4 640 Quad Core or not. Here are the specs of the two PCs I'm considering (the prices are similar) and please give me feedback on which is better (for gaming). I'm going to buy a graphics card, so Onboard graphics shouldn't matter.

    Hi,

According to this website PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End , the AMD quad core scores much better than the Intel E6700 in the cpu mark tests that they ran. I would go for the quad core myself, but I game and also do 3d modeling as well so the extra cores help alot with that.

They are pretty close, except the first one has a larger cpu... they both have the same amount of ram.. I guess it depends on price...just put in a high grade graphics card and you would be set.
I would go with #1 myself...

if its gonu be game support, i prefer AMD. . and i myself had tested it with multiple os(VM ware).. AMD is good enough when compared with intel..

Yeah, i would also go for the first bundle. If i may make a suggestion though, look into getting a motherboard with USB 3.0 slots. Its much faster than 2.0 and is backwards compatible.
