I'm thinking of getting a less than $50 printer. is there any brand that doesn't rip you off on ink? i will not buy epson again due to this (newly installed cartridges had a way of becoming suddenly empty with epson. ).
try getting one from a friend. funny enough, most people buy printers, use up all the ink, and either cant find more or are just too lazy to go get more, or they just dont use it enough to care about keeping it. a couple of weeks ago my dad offered to give me a hp printer that was only a couple years old.
Check this out mate. Saving ink depends on how much you print out, unfortunately. However, every printer has different specs such as how fast it can print a page per minute (PPM), resolution, etc. So, depending on the specs of your printer, you may save a few pages over time... but nothing i would concern myself with. Don't forget, you can always change a printers settings to lower printing quality which will definitely save you ink and paper over time.
