what happened about "front side bus" concept???(FSB)

    Hello everyone.
    I've been researching about what's the difference between the FSB in an AMD Phenom X4 and Intel Core i5 QuadCore, but neither Inter nor AMD are giving this information, have been this FSB concept deprecated?

    Good question. The FSB concept is an now an obsolete method of speed transfer between your CPU > motherboard > peripherals. Intel has developed a new method called "QuickPath".
