Honestly, i wouldn't bother upgrading to a $150 graphics card if the best CPU you can get is a Core 2 Duo. Even though you may get sick graphics during gameplay, your CPU will try to catch up to the load of the game. It's like running to the finish line with 1 excellent leg and 1 broken - you'll get there, but not fast enough.
