Hello guys, i am first in this forum and congratulations to the forum because is one of the best. - So i have one question and thanks so much in the advance if you can help me! - So is it worth it to upgrade my cpu which is Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz to a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz ? and please just tell me is it worth and don't tell me for any other quad core cpu because my budget is limited! THANKS!
what you plan on using it for. tell us: which os 32/64? what apps will you be using? which games will you be playing? my choice might be the quad core just to have one, but then i think in reality the dual core will be faster.
OK i will answer in your questions, so i'm using win7 x64, and i use alot of rendering programs like a Adobe Photoshop CS5 , After Effects....etc, and about games i play Crysis 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Assassins Creed Brotherhood etc..
Definitely go with the quad core with plenty of memory at least 8gb. Be sure your vidoe card is one that is plenty good for crysis and you should be good on the rendering. Its not just all about the cpu. Everything needs to be up to spec to prevent any bottlenecking.
my other specs are: 4GB OF DDR3 1066MHz ATI Radeon HD 4670 1GB GDDR3 320GB HDD BY HITACHI SATA 2 ASROCK G41C-S so what do you think it is my mobo good for Q8200 or do i need to upgrade ?
