I have an old satellite m105 s3031 and I want to upgrade the RAM on it. Problem is, I can't seem to find where the memory is. Where the manual states the memory is(on the backside under one of the panels) I find no RAM. It states that the laptop comes with two 256mb sticks, I have yet to see one. I have wondered if its under the keyboard but I can't seem to find out how to take it off. If anyone has any knowledge as to where and how I can get to the RAM I would be very happy, as it seems to be so old that no one has any real clue as to how to open and do maintenance on it.
Hi, This website has links to how to take apart various satellite notebooks. http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop/2006/02/04/toshiba-laptop-disassembly-manuals/ I believe this link is for your specific notebook and it appears the ram is under the keyboard (its on page 2 of this tutorial) http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-M105/take-apart-notebook-1.htm I hope this helps
Oh! I'm late here...... BashNgrab, I also have the same solution as Wildcard has given you. I hope you have got the way to come out from your problem.
