Can you tell me what was it like before it started doing this ? Was there ANY power surges or lightning strike's close by.... This is not a good sign,It usually means the Motherboard went out... Is there any Video ? can you get into your Bio's ?

    Thanks for the reply.
Well I was rendering a wedding coverage footage and all of a sudden the monitor went to standby mode so i decided to move the mouse and the screen never power up again. But i can still here the system running and all of sudden i then realize that the the CPU and chassis fan are not rolling so i quickly turn off the machine. For about 10 minutes I try powering it on again and only the drives with the PSU comes on. The system it self refuse to power up. I can't just now figure out what to do to the motherboard because I tried the CPU, RAM and PSU in a different hp dx2000 machine and were all working.

Yea ! You have to be real careful on eBay, You could be getting something worst than you already have..If it was me,I would just buy either a new Motherboard Or get Another computer... You can get real nice used PC's for cheap now days..You can probably find a 3.4 ghz or 3.6 ghz with 1 or 2 gigs of ram for about $160.00 bucks.
I would have to look at one of my places... take a look here..
