I recently started shopping around for a new CPU, and I've noticed a disturbing trend: all of the fastest ones (that I can find) have some form of DRM. Where can I go to find/compare/buy only DRM-free hardware? So far, my google-fu has failed me, and determining presence or absence of DRM is time consuming.

PS: I understand that hardware DRM will likely have no practical effect. My objection is ideological, not practical.

I think that this kind of ass covering will be quite common. I'd probably do the same if I were in that business.
