    hi everyone,

i'm sure a lot of you have seen threads like this one before but i just wanted to get a straight answer in one sweep save reading about the possilities of every other graphics card i don't own. I have an old computer that has a RADEON 9200 graphics card and a acoustic solutions tv and i also resently bought a SCART-VGA cable that should run both ways (scart-vga and vga-scart). the question is, can i get this wire to pass a signal from my computer to my tv screen without blowing something up? i've ran the wire through my laptop and it knows theres something there (it lets me ajust settings for it) but my tv stays blank. i can't ajust the frequency settings on my tv since it's just looking for a standard SCART signal, so would i have to change the frequency on my computer/laptop to make it work? any help would be appreciated and... helpful.

    thanks!

I have never done this but i'd try these things:
    1. Connect the PC to a normal VGA monitor
    2. Change the resolution to less or equal to 1024x768
    3. Change the refresh rate to the minimum allowed
