I got a strange problem as my system hangs up at the initial motherboard page (ie i cant even go to the bios settings, it just hangs up at 'press f2 to enter bios settings' page). A day back i got my Motherboard (DX58SO) replaced. Still i get the same problem, and other than motherboard led, a red led glows near processor. I dont know what it signifies. Since my motherboard got replaced. Is it a processor problem or a RAM problem or any ? Please help me through this.
What are the full specs of this system? We know the motherboard but what CPU, RAM (brand, speed & amount), power supply and video card would be nice to know.
Hello, Actually I have a worst issue with my new asus but I think I can help. The red led is usually a RAM issue then check that you ram is compatible and if the memory is correctly set up in the BIOS. Myabe you have (like my asus :-( ) a memry button you can press when it is ok. Check that you put the ram correctly and if you hear some beeps (not one, many) when you power up the ram is defintly not well seated. Remove and replug I hope it helps
