I recently bought a Gigabyte GV-N210TC,A grafics card from Gigabyte with 512MB Onboard DDR3 RAM and a Nvidia GeForce 210 GPU. The exclusive thing about this grafics card is that if you have 2048MB (or more) of system RAM,the grafic card will use 512MB of your system ram to upgrade its own ram to 1024MB. My system has a Intel Celeron D 336 CPU and 2048MB DDR2-667 RAM When i connect the grafics card,it doesn't show any image on the screen, If connected to the onboard grafics card,AND the Gigabyte grafics card is inserted, the screen gets stuck at the "Checking NVRAM" -screen. With other words, the Grafic card doesn't work,I went to the shop, they tested it for me,and it worked perfectly on their system. Now i was wondering if the problem could be caused because of the DDR2-DDR3 difference in system and grafics card RAM. But if thats the case, shouldn't the grafic card disable the RAM sharing thingy? Can anyone help me? Greets, Invidia
