Just downloaded a game and its in 2 separate ISO files which are nearly 800MB in size. I only have 700MB media Is there a way to burn these files to my HDD ? I use Nero 6.3
You might be able to convert them form ISO to another format. I got Office 2003 and it was an ISO so i opend it and converted it to a rar file. You probly need to convert it to a smaller format. Their are many out thier. If your are just bruning it for data and not to run the game then you just have to convert it into another smaller format. I think you can use WINZIP in that case and just zip it up and then burn that.
ISO images are like raw data images for CDs. They can't be compressed and burned, but you could always try and burn it as sometimes the actual ISO is bigger than the data to be burned. However if that doesn't work then you should get 90 minute 800mb discs to burn.
Woops my bad i messed up thier I was thinking of a different format. Sorry yeah you should be able to find some program that will alow you to brun it to 700mb of medi i have never tried a program for that but their is something out their.
You should be able to use a mounting program like Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%. Just use it to open the .iso file and it will create a virtual drive like it was a cd.
Daemon tools is good and its never given me problems. But if its a new game then the copy protection will probably get around that so be aware of that.
Alcohol 120% Is awesome.. I'm running 3 virtual drives with it right now, Clone CD is good too, I'm running a virtual drive with it as well
The only problem with clone CD that last time i looked at it their was no way to get it their was some problem. I could be wrong it might have been Clone DVD.
I suggest Alcohol 120% since it can burn formats which Nero can't, but other than that, Daemon Tools is lighter.
