i7-3770K Ivy Bridge or i7-3930K Sandy Bridge?

    Which one should I get? If i do mostly just gaming and rendering vids.

    This is my current system:

    Intel Core i7 950(3.06GHz)
    64 bit Quad-Core Processor
    Asus Sabertooth X58 Motherboard
    12GB RAM (6x2GB) DDR3 1333
    1TB (1 x 1TB) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 7200RPM HDD
    2TB 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
    GeForce GTX 680 2GB
    750W PSU
    120mm Liquid Cooling System

    I would go with the 3930k ... Its going to run you more money ... it benchmarks higher and doesnt have the ivy bridge overclocking problems.

    I second that, but if you want to save yourself some money with out much of a performance drop, think about the i7 - 2600K,
